In 1 John 2:18 we are told that many antichrists have come, but the identity of a person popularly known as "the antichrist" described in the book of Revelation, chapter 13 as a beast will be revealed only when he performs the acts prophetically presented in the Bible. Christians are warned to test the spirits to see whether they are from God. 1John 4:1-3 tells use that every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God, but is the spirit of the antichrist.
The Antichrist will be a Jew, though his connections, his governmental position, his sphere of dominion, will by no means confine him to the Israelites people. It should, however, be pointed out that there is no express declaration of Scripture which says in so many words that this daring Rebel will be "a Jew;" nevertheless, the hints given are so plain, the conclusions which must be drawn from certain statements of Holy Writ are so obvious, and the requirements of the case are so inevitable, that we are forced to believe he must be a Jew. To these 'hints', 'conclusions' and 'requirements' we now turn. In Ezekiel 21:25-27

anti-crist is the one who will rise to power after the church is raptured out of this world
I don't think his true identity will be known prior to the rapture - so I hope to never see him.
Will the Anti-Christ be a Jew or Gentile?
