Jeremiah 6:16
This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.'
Do you believe that God has instilled deep within us says, we must belong to something bigger than ourselves ?

The response to the question depends upon the place where we are in our relationship with God! Before we have a relationship (being saved) the sin nature is all we are occupied with in our lives. But after we become a Christian we are occupied with serving God. For one to be engaged with a deeper need for something bigger seems to be prideful! The Christian life is always a life of humility and servantthood and not seeing ourselves in a bigger light!
